How I hELP PARENTS sUPPORT THEIR kIDS
You want to help your child with their maths, but the methods they’re learning might not look anything like the ones you were taught. That’s where I come in.
I offer practical, parent-friendly support to help you understand how maths is taught in primary school today.
When parents feel more confident, kids do too. I’m here to help you work together, not work it out alone.
If you’re looking for personalised support, I also offer one-to-one calls where we can talk through your child’s specific needs, homework challenges, or any questions you have.

Understanding Modern Maths for Parents
The way maths is taught in primary schools today can look very different from how many of us learned it. There's a greater focus on understanding why methods work, solving problems in different ways, and building a strong sense of number from the start. This shift can be confusing for parents, especially when the methods don’t match what feels familiar.
I’ve created this session to bridge that gap. My goal is to help you feel part of your child’s maths learning journey, not puzzled by it.
What to Expect:
-
You’ll learn what methods your child is using in school maths
-
Clear explanations for why the modern methods work
-
Practical tips for how you can reinforce their learning in simple, effective ways at home.
When: Wednesday 11 June 8PM to 9PM (UK)

summer online workshops for kids
This summer, I’m offering a range of workshops designed to boost your child’s confidence and skills in maths. These fun, engaging programs are perfect for learners of all ages and are a great way to ensure they start the new school year ready to tackle any maths challenge.

Every child learns differently, and I tailor each lesson to fit their unique interests and strengths. Whether they need something more engaging, extra support, or a confidence boost, I adapt my approach to help them thrive at their pace, their way.

With over 10 years of experience supporting neurodivergent learners, including those with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and dyscalculia, I'm also neurodivergent, and feel lucky to be able to provide the right support for every learner, helping them overcome challenges and succeed.
I believe in creating strong, meaningful relationships with my students. By quickly connecting with them, building trust and having fun, I create a safe space where they can ask questions, make mistakes, and grow without fear.

I work closely with parents and carers to ensure success beyond tutoring sessions. If your child is in school, I'm happy to be in touch with teachers. For homeschooling parents, I can help you tailor maths learning to your child's unique interests and skillset.

WHAT PARENTS SAY...
“Chloe has been amazing with my son in his tutoring sessions. She has a fantastic ability to bond and build trust really quickly. My son loves her and wants to go home with her at the end of a session."
“I would 100% recommend Chloe as a tutor she relates well to children and is able to offer support to parents to support their child in their learning.”
“Chloe has immediately gained our son's trust. She knows how to challenge him without him noticing. We now feel so hopeful that he will be able to realise his potential and more importantly, be happier at school (and in general)”
